1. This position is responsible for driving the Sales for Car Wash / Valet and Rental Cars operating under the Auto Valet Group.

2. Maintaining the job booking form, supervise washing, cleaning of the exterior and interior of the vehicle and jumping in valet centre as and when required.

3. Opening and closing securely the office and work area daily.

4. Cover up the reception in absence of the receptionist or attendant or Manager, including customer services, attending incoming phone calls, booking valet jobs, taking in and out deliveries from/to the customers, collecting payments, operating Eftpos/credit card payment machine.

5. Prioritising and allocating everyday task to the team and to ensure that all the valet jobs are completed within standard allocated time without any quality issues.

6. Ensuring and monitoring the team performance and address issues accordingly . This involves training and supervision of staff, identify areas to improve efficiency, reduce idle time and to ensure that the budget charge out rate is achieved each week.

7. Maintain stock levels of the car wash / valet products and chemicals to avoid stock out situations.

8. Ensuring the work place is kept tidy including the wash bays, office area, customer reception area, toilets, machine room, laundry, external parking which normally forms part of the business.

9. Attending to customer’s complaints or carrying re-fixes as and when required and ensuring these mistakes or lapses are not repeated again.

10. Ensuring that the Customers are provided with good customer service by giving help and education in coins/tokens operations, auto wash/self-serve car wash operation during work hours.

11. Managing the Rental cars bookings, taking payments and deposits from the customers, ensuring the cars are handed in and out to customers without any issues and making sure that all the Rentals have proper Certificate of Fitness (COF), and a valid registration before it leaves the workshop.

12. Daily jobs include managing customer’s vehicles in and out of the workshop/driveway/bays for carrying out the valet or rental jobs or delivery.

13. Keeping the work area safe from health and safety point of view. Attend to suitable health and safety programme or updates as and when necessary.

14. Helping the Manager / Workshop Supervisor in ensuring the operational efficiency within the Organisation.

15. Providing training, guidance, direction and feedback to team members.

16. Managing, motivating and developing staff providing customer services including backup plan and rosters.

17. Keep the management informed of the task accomplishment and any business related issues.

Salary: $46,800.00 per year
