Your Mission
As a Production Manager, you lead the production of tire-wheel assemblies within the plant, in all aspects.
Your Responsibilities
- You respect the planning of TWAs to be produced in the most efficient manner.
- You are accountable for Production indicators within the MKPIs: output per line shift, OEE, and Production, Staff cost per operational income.
- You analyze potential target deviations (Pareto reports, e.g.) and define relevant corrective actions in cooperation with the other departments.
- You support the Quality department in the achievement of the plant quality targets (scrap, line rejections, e.g.), and in the root cause analysis and related action plan from internal/customer quality incidents.
- You ensure that the quality procedures and instructions are respected within production.
- You supervise the shift leaders, line leaders, and production operators.
- You monitor and validate the staff planning to ensure an optimal level of flexibility and cost efficiency.
- You follow up on the worked hours, holiday planning, and absenteeism rates in cooperation with HR, implementing corrective actions where needed.
- You ensure the realization of yearly assessment interviews, and employee dialogues, within production.
- You follow up on the execution of the training plan for the production team, with a focus on safety.
- You ensure proper onboarding, support, coaching, and development of the production team, at all levels of the organization.
- You organize regular and extra production shifts when necessary.
- You organize and prepare the plant production meetings and ensure proper coordination and cooperation with the other departments at all levels.
- You ensure that the EHS measures are known and respected by the production team.
- You assure the sorting and removal of waste according to the instructions and regulations.
- You assure that company values are respected within the production surroundings.
Your Profile
- You have at least 3 years in a leading position within a serial production company, preferably from the automotive sector and Tire 1 supplier.
- You have a technical background/education.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- IATF 16949 principles
- ERP/MES/CMMS knowledge
- Fluent in the local language.
- Fluent in English required when reporting to the Plant Manager, as a member of the MT of the plant.
